From November 1, 2015, to January 28, 2016, the second echelon of the Blue Sky Rescue's 89 - day wildlife protection work in Zimbabwe was successfully completed.

In recent years, the poaching situation in Zimbabwe has become increasingly severe. As a professional civilian rescue organization, the Blue Sky Rescue Team of China, coordinated by the Department of African Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, made contact with the Ministry of Environment of Zimbabwe and signed a memorandum at the Ministry of Environment of Zimbabwe. The Blue Sky Rescue Team assigns team members to take turns for a two - year anti - poaching volunteer service in Zimbabwe to assist the local police in carrying out wildlife protection tasks.


In May 2015, the Chinese Blue Sky Rescue Team dispatched its first batch of team members to Zimbabwe. They provided three - month support in terms of technology, equipment, medical care, poverty alleviation, as well as medical services for the anti - poaching operations of the Zimbabwean Ministry of Environment.

On January 7, 2016, Zhang Yong (Yuan Shan), the chief commander of the Blue Sky Rescue Team, held communication and exchanges with the Minister of Environment and Water Resources of Zimbabwe regarding the progress of the anti - poaching project in Zimbabwe at Jianguo Hotel in Beijing.
