To enhance the UN - oriented international rescue capabilities of the Blue Sky Rescue Team, a nine - member international exchange team was organized by the team. They went to Malaysia to participate in the 2017 INSARAG - standard simulation drill for earthquake response in the northern region of the Asia - Pacific area under the auspices of the United Nations (UN).

On the morning of September 12, NADMA negotiated with PKTK to divide the disaster - stricken area into five regions and arranged for some rescue organizations to enter the disaster area.
The Malaysian government requested international assistance based on the severe disaster - affected situation locally. The United Nations VO system activated the rescue response and promptly updated the information of the disaster - stricken areas. After receiving the distress information, the Blue Sky Rescue Team's command center information platform initiated the information collection work. Members of the International Development Department immediately reported their dispatch to the United Nations VO. The rear - support working group of the command center launched the rescue follow - up work, and the cultural construction department of the command center started to follow up on the dispatch letters.
A total of 48 rescue teams from 32 countries around the world participated in this drill.The Blue Sky Rescue Team sent 9 people to participate in the drill, divided into 2 groups.There were 20 work sites and 5 rescue areas.
