Blue Sky Rescue

The Blue Sky Rescue Team, founded in 2007 by Zhang Yong, is a humanitarian rescue organization dedicated to providing emergency free rescue services to people in danger, regardless of nationality, race, age, or gender. The team operates under the principles of "de-commercialization" and "good deeds change people's hearts," adhering to national laws and regulations.

The Blue Sky Rescue Team is distributed across major cities in China and some county-level cities. Members come from various backgrounds but share a common goal and undergo rigorous training in various rescue techniques. They participate in over 30,000 rescue and security tasks annually, including notable disasters like the Wenchuan and Yushu earthquakes, the Oriental Star shipwreck, and the Henan floods.

The team also focuses on disaster prevention and reduction, spreading safety awareness and emergency knowledge to schools, communities, and enterprises. They believe that prevention is better than rescue.

The Blue Sky Rescue Team is a disseminator of safety awareness and emergency knowledge. The Blue Sky Rescue Team always believes that prevention is better than rescue, and vigorously carries out disaster prevention and reduction publicity and self-rescue and mutual rescue knowledge, spreading key information about life safety to every corner of society. Entering campuses, building a solid safety line for young people; cultivating communities, bringing peace of mind to thousands of households; empowering enterprises: tightening the safety spring for production.​

Internationally, the Blue Sky Rescue Team has participated in rescues such as Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, earthquake relief in Nepal, and flood rescues in Sri Lanka. They have established branches in countries like Myanmar, Nepal, Singapore, and Turkey. In July 2024, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Blue Sky Rescue Team was officially established, further expanding their international presence.
