At noon on September 13th, a 9 - member team of the Chinese Blue Sky Rescue Team arrived at Yangon Airport and proceeded to Kachin State to join the operation of searching for the missing members of the Myanmar university mountaineering team. During the search - and - rescue process, the Burmese EC130 helicopter unexpectedly went missing in the virgin forest. The Chinese Blue Sky Rescue Team was called for help a second time. In response, the Blue Sky Rescue Team dispatched a total of 32 rescue members and over 50 support members.
